Career development lecture
Aim
The Career Development Lecture is one of the highlights of the ARTERY annual meeting. Three junior post-doctoral researchers are given the opportunity to give a 15 minute presentation, highlighting and contextualizing important findings and achievements from their career to date, as well as presenting future plans. The Career Development Lecture highlights the scientific journey of researchers moving from early-career to established researchers, and how their original work in the field of arterial function and structure have enriched the scientific community. These characteristics differentiate the Career Development Lecture from a regular conference abstract presentation, which would be an in-depth presentation about a particular study.
